French Chateaux in New Baltimore

Recently we had a pleasure to completely repaint and faux finish a beautiful French Chateaux style home in New Baltimore, Michigan. Originally constructed by Ventimiglia Building Company served as their sales office and was later purchased by its present owner, a local business man J. Gniatczyk. At the time it was planned and constructed Mr. Ventimiglia travelled to south of France to find inspiration for the models plans. It features a southern style court yard with custom fountain and a sitting area. Inside it is very elegant and functional with bonus rooms and custom build cabinetry. Original Ford Family Residence

Recently we had an opportunity to work on a house tha originally belonged to the Ford family. Constructed in 1928, this classic beuty had some roms that where preserved in their original condition . One such room was "Movie Room" that serves the present owners as a movie theatre feturing a large projector screen. The walls were all 1920's stained pine woodwork and needed a lot of TLC even before painting. We started with securing loose pieces, removing and adding some others to bring it to workable condition. Sometimes the manufacturing shop applies a powder coating that again looks same throughout the railing and does not accentuate intricate metal work. On the other hand, our custom waxes do just that.
